Horses can suffer from a variety of pathologic conditions affecting different systems in their bodies:
– Musculoskeletal Disorders: Horses are prone to joint diseases like arthritis, tendon injuries, and bone disorders due to nutritional deficiencies or congenital issues; these conditions can severely impact mobility and performance
Neurologic Diseases:  Horses can develop neurologic disorders such as equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM), wobbler syndrome, and equine herpesvirus-associated myeloencephalopathy; these conditions affect coordination, balance, and overall nervous system function
Respiratory Diseases Conditions like guttural pouch disease, equine asthma, and strangles can impair breathing and cause severe discomfort. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to maintaining respiratory health.
