Description

The third edition of Clinical Medicine of the Dog and Cat has been completely revised and updated. The ebook is now divided into five color-coded sections – General Approach, Disease of Specific Organ Systems, Multisystemic Disorders, Elements of Therapy and Case Studies. As with the first and second editions of this ebook, the overriding principle of succinct, yet comprehensive text presented in a clear format with an abundance of good quality images remains. No other comprehensive small animal veterinary medicine book exists with a comparable amount of relevant illustrated material. This new third edition continues and expands on the revolutionary approach of the previous two editions, now including more than 1,850 high quality clinical colour photographs, diagrams, and tables. Written by board-certified experts with several case contributions by clinicians in advanced phases of resident training, topics were carefully selected to make this a valuable resource to the general practitioner and also to small animal interns and veterinary students. 1,147 p.

The strength of this textbook remains its collection of images, ranging from photographs of clinical cases to radiographs, ultrasound, cytology, ophthalmology and surgical images to detailed diagrams of surgical approaches and techniques … It is an invaluable aid to students who might not otherwise be exposed to a clinical presentation

If a picture is worth a thousand words, this beautifully illustrated text is longer than it appears!… Overall, this is a brilliantly illustrated and clearly written text for anyone with an interest in small animal medicine.

If you are looking to purchase a single medicine textbook for your practice bookshelf, ‘Clinical Medicine of the Dog and Cat’ is certainly worth considering. The third edition of this popular text is divided into four sections, each of which is punctuated with helpful tables, charts and useful pictures to augment the text… It would certainly be a welcome additional to any veterinary surgery looking to update its practice library.
